- The Owls stayed at No. 21 in the latest AVCA Top-25 Coaches Poll. They are also 17th in the NCAA's latest RPI rankings.
- For the second straight week and the fourth time in the last five weeks, Rice ffifth-year setter Carly Graham was honored by Conference USA as the Setter of the Week. Graham recorded 72 assists, 12 digs and 10 kills in a pair of sweeps.
- Rice junior libero Nia McCardell currently leads Conference USA in digs per set, averaging 4.92, which is 24th in the country. Fifth-year middle blocker Anota Adekunle leads C-USA with a 43.7% hitting percentage, good for third in the nation.
- As a team the Owls currently rank 18th in the NCAA in digs per set (16.72) and are 17th in opponents hitting percentage (.160). The Owls have held 20 of 24 opponents below a hitting percentage of .200 or worse this season.
- Dating back to 2014 the Owls are 104-20 (.839) in Conference USA play, which includes a 59-3 (.952) record the last three seasons. Rice has won 38 consecutive C-USA regular season contests dating back to the 2019 season.
