No. 21 Volleyball to Be No. 2 Seed; Face FIU in C-USA Tournament

HOUSTON — After going 13-1 in conference play, the No. 21 Rice Volleyball team will enter the Conference USA Tournament as the No. 2 seed, to be played Nov. 18-20 in Bowling Green, Ky., the league announced Saturday.
The Owls (23-3) will face seventh seed FIU (8-20) in the quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m., on ESPN+. Rice swept the Panthers, 3-0, earlier this year.
Rice is looking to win its third Conference USA championship. It also took home the crown in 2009 and 2018.
This is the second meeting between the two squads in the Conference USA Tournament. Rice swept FIU in the 2018 Championship match.
