- The Owls stayed still in the latest AVCA Top-25 Coaches poll, coming in at No. 22. In the NCAA's inaugural RPI of the season, Rice enters No. 11, its second highest ranking in history.
- Rice junior libero Nia McCardell currently leads Conference USA in digs per set, averaging 5.19, which is 15th in the country. Fifth-year middle blocker Anota Adekunle is third in C-USA with a 38.7% hitting percentage, good for 32nd in the nation.
- As a team the Owls currently rank 3rd in the NCAA in digs per set (17.53) and are 12th in opponents hitting percentage (.153). The Owls have held 14 of 15 opponents below a hitting percentage of .200 or worse this season.
- Dating back to 2014 the Owls are 96-20 (.828) in Conference USA play, which includes a 51-3 (.944) record the last three seasons. Rice has won 30 consecutive C-USA regular season contests dating back to the 2019 season.
