Preparation begins for Aug. 27 season opener
Rice volleyball held its first practice Monday morning for the highly anticipated 2021 Fall season. Head Coach Genny Volpe discussed the excitement for her 18th season at the helm of the Owls and how the team has a little extra motivation entering the 2021 campaign.
The Owls bring back 14 letterwinners, including six starters, from last season's team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament and finished the year ranked No. 23 in the country.
