Lettenberger Opens Paralympic Competition Thursday Night

First of two events
Rice junior Ahalya Lettenberger will make her Paralympic debut on Thursday night when she competes in the preliminaries of the Women's SM 7 200 Individual Medley at approximately 8:19 p.m. (central).
Lettenberger will swim in the second of two heats, looking to advance to the event final on Friday morning at 4:50 a.m.
The 200 IM is the first of two events for Lettenberger, who will also swim the 400 freestyle on Saturday looking to reach the final on Sunday morning at 3:05 a.m. She captured the silver medal at the 2019 World Championships in the 400 freestyle.
