
Lennon, Graham Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

Fifth time Owls have had multiple winners
DALLAS – The Rice Owls volleyball team was represented on the Conference USA All-Academic Team for a 14th consecutive season with the selections of both Nicole Lennon and Carly Graham, the league office announced on Tuesday.
The duo received recognition for both their athletic and academic achievements and were selected by the league's academic advisors.
Lennon is a repeat selection (2019) while Graham made her first appearance on the All-Academic Team.
A semifinalist for this year's Senior CLASS award, Lennon is a double major (Economics/Psychological Sciences) and holds a 3.73 GPA. She has been named to the C-USA Academic Honor Roll four times and is a Rice Scholar Athlete. The Katy, Texas native is a three-time C-USA Offensive Player of the Week this season and currently ranks second in C-USA in total kills (282), total attacks (737), points per set (4.99), total points (334.0) and attacks per set (11.00).
Graham, a native of Spring, Texas, is a Kinesiology major with a 3.65 GPA and has been named to the C-USA Academic Honor Roll three times. She has twice been named the C-USA Setter of the Week and ranks second in C-USA in assists per set (10.10) and is third in total assists (677).
The Owls return to action on Thursday, Apr. 1 when they face Middle Tennessee at 5 p.m. in the quarterfinals of the C-USA Championship in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. All matches this weekend will be streamed on ESPN+.
