
Lennon Selected C-USA Offensive Player of the Week

DALLAS - For the third time this season Rice outside hitter Nicole Lennon was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Sunday.
The Katy, Texas native was instrumental in helping the Owls take down the No. 2 ranked Texas Longhorns in five sets. Lennon led the Owls with 18 kills on 42 attacks and also contributed 14 digs for her 10th double-double of the season. Lennon averaged 4.2 points per set and added 3.0 blocks.
Lennon currently ranks second in C-USA in total kills (282), total attacks (737), points per set (4.99), total points (334.0) and attacks per set (11.00).
The Owls return to action on Thursday, Apr. 1 when they face Middle Tennessee at 5 p.m. in the quarterfinals of the C-USA Championship in Hattiesburg, Miss. All matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
