Lennon, Graham Named C-USA Players of the Week

Duo led Owls to pair of wins over Louisiana Tech
DALLAS – Rice senior outside hitter Nicole Lennon and junior setter Carly Graham took home the Conference USA Offensive and Setter of the Week awards, respectively, the league office announced on Tuesday.
The duo helped lead the Owls (3-3, 2-0) to a pair of sweeps in their C-USA opening series against the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters at Tudor Fieldhouse.
Lennon totaled 25 kills over six sets (4.17 kills per set) all while hitting .353 in the two victories. On Sunday, Lennon became the fifth player in Rice history to surpass 1,500 career kills. For the season, Lennon has totaled 105 kills over 22 sets and is averaging 4.77 kills per frame.
Graham dished out 63 total assists over the six sets (10.50 per game) and began the weekend with a 33-assist effort. She then followed that up with a 30-assist/11-dig double-double. Graham helped orchestrate a Rice offense that hit .362 as a team for the weekend.
Rice is back in action next week when they travel to Southern Miss for a pair of matches (Feb. 14-15) against the Golden Eagles
