
Graham, Lennon Earn VolleyballMag.com All-American Honors

Pair of Owls pick up additional postseason accolades
HOUSTON – Rice Volleyball seniors Carly Graham and Nicole Lennon received a pair of additional postseason accolades following a stellar Fall season, earning VolleyballMag.com All-American Second and Third Team honors, respectively, on Friday.
Graham, who was named an AVCA All-American Honorable Mention earlier this month, received her second straight VolleyballMag.com Honorable Mention in as many seasons following a season in which she was once again named the Conference USA Setter of the Year. The Spring, Texas native also earned a spot on the AVCA Southwest Region Team in a year in which she ranked 14th in the NCAA in assists per set (11.10).
Graham played a vital in helping the Owls reach the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament, leading one of the most proficient offenses in the nation. The Owls ranked fifth in the country in kills per set (14.38) and ninth in hitting percentage (.287). The C-USA First Teamer who will return for a fifth season in 2022 was a four-time C-USA Setter of the Week and totaled 12 double-doubles.
Lennon concludes her Rice career with one final award, her third straight VolleyballMag.com achievement. A two-time VolleyballMag.com Second Team All-American, Lennon was a 2021 C-USA First Teamer and AVCA Southwest Region awardee. The Katy, Texas native became Rice's all-time leader in career kills earlier this season and finished her illustrious career with 2,144 kills.
This season she ranked 19th in the NCAA in kills per set (4.44) and 27th in points per set (4.91). She ranked 10th among all C-USA players with a .338 hitting percentage during league play. Lennon posted double-figure kills in 21 of 27 matches and led the Owls with 16 double-doubles. In addition, Lennon was a Senior CLASS Second Team All-American.
