Rice in 14th-Place after Second Round of Cabo Collegiate

Cabo, Mexico — Rice carded a seven-over 291 to head into the final round of the Cabo Collegiate in 14th-place. The tournament is played at the par-71, 6,807-yard Cabo del Sol, Cove Club Golf Course and co-hosted by Arkansas and Houston.
The Owls are just two strokes back of No. 39 Houston. No. 14 Arizona leads the tournament at 15-under par, three strokes in front of No. 20 Vanderbilt.
Junior Rishi Kejriwal is tied for 45th-place at two-over par after carding a 74. Junior Jake Benson is one shot back at three-over par in a 50th-place tie after posting a 77.
Sophomore Campbell Gibson posted a two-over par 73 to sit in a tie for 59th-place at six-over par. Senior Nick Duggan tied for 65th-place at eight-over par after shooting a 72 and freshman Thomas Bockholt III also carded 72 to sit in a 70th-place tie at nine-over par.
There is a three-way tie for medalist honors at seven-under par between Stanford's Barclay Brown, Baylor's Johnny Keefer and Trevor Werbylo or Arizona.
