HOUSTON - The No. 19 Rice Owls volleyball team (18-1, 7-0) returns home this Sunday to host the FIU Panthers in a rematch of last year's Conference USA Championship match, which the Owls swept to advance to the NCAA Tournament. Rice enters play on Sunday riding a nine-match winning streak (10th-best in NCAA) and owners of the sixth-best active winning percentage (.947) in the country.
The Owls are coming off a weekend in which they swept both Marshall and Louisiana Tech on the road while FIU has lost four consecutive matches heading into their Friday match at Louisiana Tech.

- Rice has won a school record 25 consecutive sets dating back to Sept. 18 vs. Texas.
- The Owls are currently ranked No. 15 in the latest RPI and No. 19 in the AVCA Top-25.
- Rice currently holds the third-longest active home win streak (19 straight) in the nation, trailing only Cal Poly (28) and Stephen F. Austin (20).
- The Owls also have the seventh-longest active road win streak at seven straight.
- Rice currently ranks Top-20 in the NCAA in kills per set (2nd-14.75), winning percentage (6th-.947), assists per set (8th-13.45), opponent's hitting percentage (10th-.145), hitting percentage (12th-.279) and digs per set (14th-17.70).
- Junior outside hitter Nicole Lennon ranks fifth in the NCAA in kills per set (5.15), seventh in points per set (5.46) and 14th in attacks per set (12.13).
- Senior libero Lee Ann Cunningham ranks fourth in C-USA with 4.78 digs per set and sixth in total digs (306). Cunningham currently ranks eighth among active NCAA Division I players in career digs with 1,971.
- Sophomore middle blocker Anota Adekunle ranks 10th in the NCAA in hitting percentage (.425) while senior middle blocker Grace Morgan is fifth in C-USA (.332).
