HOUSTON — Rice continues its 2018-19 campaign this Monday-Tuesday, September 17-18, when it travels to Fort Collins, Colo. for the seventh annual Ram Masters Invitational, hosted by Colorado State. The tournament will be played at the par-70, 7,218-yard Fort Collins Country Club.
JUSTIN EMIL QUOTABLE
"This is a really good trip. It's a chance to experience and play on some different grass and in a different altitude. The golf ball flies a little further up there. We'll be prepared for that. We're going to play on Saturday, which will give us an opportunity to prepare for the ball traveling a little further. I'm confident in this group of guys that, even though it will be a new situation for them, they'll be fine."
TEAM FIELD
Joining Rice in the field are Cal State-Fullerton, host Colorado State, Denver, Idaho, Illinois State, Long Beach State, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Omaha, Sam Houston State, Seattle, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Washington State, Wichita State and Wyoming. Colorado will participate as individuals.
