An Evening For Rice's Honour

Given in honor of outstanding leadership and meritorious service toward excellence in athletics at William Marsh Rice University
The evening was highlighted by the presentation of the Distinguished Owl Club Award to Donald N. Bowers '91, Adam C. Peakes '95 and Dr. Leland A. Winston '69, recognized for their outstanding dedication and leadership in the ardent support of Rice's athletic programs. The biennial event is once again co-chaired by Dr. Walter McReynolds and Bucky Allshouse.
"For Rice's Honour" has been a featured event since the first gala was held in 1984. Over that time, more than $3.5 million has been raised for athletic scholarships.
