HOUSTON -- Rice golf continues its fall campaign this Friday-Sunday, September 22-24, when it travels to Scottsdale, Ariz., for the second annual Maui Jim Invitational, hosted by Georgia State. The tournament will be played at the par-72, 7,203-yard Desert Forest Club.
Justin Emil QUOTABLE
"It's a really good field; the best field we've seen so far this year. There's a couple of top programs like Georgia Tech, Arizona State, Kent State and Georgia Tech. We're looking forward to the opportunity to play against some of these teams and get some experience against teams that we know are going to be in the postseason. That's where we want to be so we've got to go up against those guys."
TEAM FIELD
Joining Rice in the field are Arizona State, Augusta, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Gonzaga, Hawai'i, Houston Kansas, Kent State, Lipscomb, LSU, Minnesota and Nebraska.
