Conference USA Academic Medal Awarded to 48 Owls

2017 C-USA Academic Medal Winners
IRVING, Texas — Forty-eight Rice University student-athletes earned a Conference USA Academic Medal for their efforts in the classroom during the 2016-17 academic year, the league office announced on Friday.
Student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of at least 3.75 to earn the medal. The announcement comes one day after the Owls placed a league-high 243 student-athletes on the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
