
Voetsch Shoots Two-under in Final Round of All-American

Final Results
HUMBLE, Texas -- Freshman Will Voetsch fired a two-under par 70 in the final round of the All-American Intercollegiate, played at the Golf Club of Houston.
The Owls finished nine-over par in the final round to tie for 13th-place with Sam Houston State at 46-over par, one stroke ahead Northern Illinois.
The 70 was Voetsch's third round of par or better this year and was a tournament low for Rice. The New Vernon, N.J., native tied for 40th-place.
Senior James Lee led Rice, tying for 31st-place. Lee, who played as an individual, posted a 75 to finish at six-over par.
Sophomore Mario Carmona shot a 74 to finish 11-over par in a 51st-place tie. Sophomore Mitchell Meissner posted an 80 to tie for 62nd-place at 14-over par.
Junior Kevin Reilly tied for 72nd-place at 17-over par after posting a 77.
Sophomore Jay Burlison finished in 84th-place at 25-over par after shooting an 76 and freshman Grant Rogers, who is playing as an individual, shot a season-best 76 to finish 31-over par in 87th-place.
Arkansas won the team tournament at nine-under par, one stroke ahead of second-place Houston. Arkansas' Taylor Moore won medalist honors at nine-under par, three strokes ahead of South Carolina's Mike Nesmith.
Rice returns to the links next week when it travels to Cabo, Mexico for the Querencia Cabo Intercollegiate.
