HOUSTON — After a three week break, Rice heads back to the links when it co-hosts the second annual Bayou City Collegiate Classic, Oct. 10-11 and played at the par-72, 7,254 yard Golfcrest Country Club in Pearland.
The Owls will co-host the event along with Houston and Sam Houston State.
"This week is a great opportunity for our team," said head coach Justin Emil. "The golf course is very familiar as it is one of the courses we play regularly on our rotation. The team has been playing with a lot of confidence and if we can stay in our process this week it should be a good result. It's always nice to play a tournament in your home town and this is one of two on our schedule. I hope we see a lot of Rice fans out at Golfcrest Country Club this weekend."
