Johnson Ties for 23rd at HBU Husky Intercollegiate

Missouri City--Senior Trey Johnson tied for 23rd-place at the HBU Husky Intercollegiate, played at the par-71, 6,931-yard Quail Valley Golf Club.
Johnson carded a 75 to finish 10-over par with a 54-hole score of 223. The 23rd-place finish is his career-best. Sophomore Mitchell Meissner withdrew from the tournament following yesterday's round due to a wrist injury.
Houston won the team competition at one-under par, 22 strokes in front of second-place UT-Rio Grande Valley. UH's Michael Perras finished eight-under par to earn medalist honors, six strokes in front of Scott Shaw of Incarnate Word.
