Johnson Tied for 18th at HBU Husky Intercollegiate

Missouri City—Senior Trey Johnson is tied for 18th-place heading into the final round of the HBU Husky Intercollegiate, played at the par-71, 6,931-yard Quail Valley Golf Club.
Johnson is six-over par after posting rounds of 76-72/148. The second round 72 tied his career low round, previously set during the 2013 Sam Hall Intercollegiate. Sophomore Mitchell Meissner is tied for 47th-place at 23-over par after carding rounds of 82-82/165.
Houston leads the team competition at one-under par, 11 strokes in front of second-place UT-Rio Grande Valley. UH's Michael Perras is nine-under par to lead the individual tournament, four strokes in front of Zachary Campbell of Houston Baptist.
The final round concludes tomorrow morning, beginning at 8:30 a.m. CT.
