Palo Alto, Calif. - After two rounds of the U.S. Intercollegiate held at Stanford, the Rice Owls are in 15th place heading into Sunday's final round with a 609 score (306-303). Stanford leads the field with a four-under 556 (280-276). Rob Grube, of Stanford, is the individual leader after he fired a six-under 134 (65-69) at the par 70, 6,742-yard Stanford Golf Course.
The Owls are led by junior Addison Awe who is at +4 with a 144 (70-74) and is tied for 25th. Freshman Michael Buttacavoli follows with a 154 (79-75), while Kaz Hoffman, a sophomore is at 155 (79-76). Heon Young Lee is at 156 (78-78) and Erik Petersen is at 160 (79-81).
Sunday's final round starts at 9 am (CST).
