The Rice Owls golf team opens up its spring portion of the season by hosting the Seventh Annual Rice Intercollegiate this Saturday and Sunday at Westwood G.C. (par 72; 7,184 yards - Westwood GC). The 14-team field begins the first of two rounds on Saturday with a shotgun start at 8:30 am. Sunday's final round also begins at 8:30 am.
Teams competing include Belmont, Cal Poly, College of Charleston, College of William & Mary, Louisiana Tech, Rice University (Blue), Rice University (Gray), Sam Houston State, Southeastern Louisiana, Stephen F. Austin State, Pacific, Richmond, Texas-Pan American, and Wyoming.
Results will be available on www.riceowls.com at the conclusion of each day's action.
