Women's Hoops Gears Up for TCU

HOUSTON - After playing nine of their first 10 games to start the season away from the city of Houston, the Rice Owls (5-5) return home Thursday against former Southwest Conference and WAC rival TCU (3-4).
"TCU has been a very outstanding program with numerous consecutive NCAA appearances," head coach Greg Williams said. "They beat us pretty handily at their place last year and hopefully we'll have a similar turn around like we did earlier this season against Arkansas-Little Rock. We're certainly going to have to play better than we have over our last four games."
Tip-off against the Horned Frogs is slated for approximately 7:30pm at Houston Baptist's Sharp Gym. HBU takes on Harding at 5:30pm to open the women's basketball doubleheader.
