The Rice Owls golf team sits in 11th place at the Memphis Intercollegiate after shooting a 305 in the first round at the Colonial Country Club (Par 72 - 7334 yards). Round two was postponed at 5:15 pm due to inclement weather and will resume where suspended on Tuesday at 9 am. Round three has been canceled, and the tournament has been reconfigured to a 36-hole format.
Penn State's Kevin Foley leads after one round by shooting a seven-under 65. Mississippi leads all teams with a 280 in the first round.
