Owls in 12th Place at Baylor Invitational

Waco - The Rice Owls golf team sits in 12th place after two rounds of the Baylor Invitational at Bear Ridge GC. The Owls shot 307 in round one and in the afternoon shot a 303. Lamar leads the 15-team field at 578 (290-288)..
Head coach Drew Scott was pleased with the play of senior Parker LaBarge and sophomore Addison Awe.
I feel like with the way we played today, we can make a huge move tomorrow and finish the tournament in a very respectable place," says the Rice mentor."Parker LaBarge and Addison Awe both played steady for us, and I will expect that from all of the guys in the morning."
LaBarge leads Rice at 148 (76-72), while Awe follows at 149 (75-74). The third and final round concludes on Tuesday.
