Men's Golf: Owls Place Fourth at Squire Creek Intercollegiate

Choudrant, La. -- The Rice golf team improved two positions to place fourth at the Squire Creek Intercollegiate with an 897 (309-295-293). Freshman Jeff Krakowiak led the Owls with a 13th place finish at 223 (76-76-71).

UT-Arlington maintained its first day lead to win the tournament at 15-over 879 (297-290-292). Louisiana-Monroe's Casey Russell was medalist at 213 +1 (73-70-70).

This was Rice's final tournament for the fall season. The Owls are next in action when they host the Rice Intercollegiate on Feb. 7 and 8 at Wildcat G.C.
