"This was a great win for us, and for the seniors" head coach Julio Morales said. "It gives us a great feeling heading to Hawaii." Today's win, coupled with a victory last Thursday night over TCU, has guaranteed the Owls a winning season.
The Mustangs were held hitless in games three and four, going 9-9-35 in both sets. Senior Melissa Godwin led SMU with 14 kills.
The Owls finish the season at #2 Hawaii (24-0, 14-0) on Tuesday night.
