Volleyball: Rice Falls 3-1 to Nevada

Rice (14-9, 3-5) lost their fourth match in a row, 15-5, 6-15, 7-15, 13-15. As a team, the Owls hit .113 to Nevada's .152. Rice was led by senior outside hitter Karolina Zelinka who posted her 15th double-double on the year behind 12 kills and 11 digs. Zelinka moves into third all-time at Rice with 1,383 kills. She needs just 62 digs to claim the top spot. She currently has a career total of 1,069. Junior Leigh Leman contributed with 10 kills and a match-high 20 digs for her 13th double-double this season. Leman also posted a career high 19 assists.
Leading the charge for the 'Pack was sophomore middle blocker Michelle More who posted a match-high 18 kills. Nevada moves to 8-10, 4-4 in WAC play.
Next up for the Owls is #2 Hawaii (16-0, 6-0). The Rainbow Wahine visit Autry Court tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
