Hunter-Galvan returns to South Main for her first season on the women's track and field staff in 2025-26, where she will serve as the Director of Track & Field Operations.

During her time as an athlete with the Owls, Hunter-Galvan claimed five conference titles and 11 All-Conference honors. The 2024 track campaign was stellar, sweeping the 800m and 1500m/Mile events between the American Indoor and Outdoor Championships. Hunter-Galvan was also part of the 2023 DMR winning team at the CUSA Indoor Championships.

Rice claimed two team conference titles with Hunter-Galvan, the 2020 CUSA Indoor Championship and the 2023 CUSA Outdoor Championship. In cross country, the Owls finished second out of 23 teams at the 2021 NCAA South Central Regional, the best finish at the regional race since 2010.

She is the school record holder in the indoor 800m, while also ranking fourth in the outdoor 800m and sixth in the indoor mile.

Hunter-Galvan is a 2024 Rice graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering.
