Josh White joined the Owls in July 2025 as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving, coming to Rice from the Baylor Bear Foundation, where he served as a Graduate Assistant.
White's primary responsibility is to generate financial support for student-athlete scholarships, facilities, and program enhancements across all 14 of Rice's varsity sports.
A former student-athlete, White earned three letters at Baylor as a linebacker and played 37 games in his career with the Bears. He signed with LSU after a standout high school career at Cy Creek High School, where he was the Touchdown Club of Houston’s 2019 Defensive Player of the Year. He played in 10 games as a freshman with the Tigers in 2020.
He graduated from Baylor in 2024 with a degree in Corporate Communications and received his Master’s in Sport Management from Baylor in 2025.
White and fiancée, Jaden Sharp, and dog Jesse make their home in Houston.
