Jessie joined the Rice University Sports Medicine Department in June 2023. She is responsible for managing the health care of the football team.
Jessie is a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned a degree in Kinesiology. She received her master’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Houston where she worked with baseball, football and Rice football. She also completed a two-year internship at Michigan State University, where she was responsible for the care of the women’s tennis team and also assisted with football.
Her professional interests include osteopathic manipulative medicine, along with student-athlete mental health.
Jessie is currently a member of NATA, SWATA, and GLATA. Jessie resides in Houston.
