Brandon Evans rejoined Rice Athletics in June 2024 as Assistant AD of Development, bringing over two decades of experience in collegiate and professional sports. In his role, he leads annual fundraising efforts, including the Owl Club Athletic Fund and the Rice Athletics Scholarship Fund.
He works in close partnership with the Rice Development and Alumni Relations division to drive philanthropic support and enhance the student-athlete experience.
A 2004 Rice graduate and former men’s basketball letterman, Evans played in 113 games for the Owls from 1999 to 2003. He previously served at Rice from 2004 to 2007 as Assistant Ticket Manager, supporting ticket operations and game-day logistics.
His professional background includes roles with the Houston Comets, ASM Global at NRG Park, and the Houston Dynamo FC, with a focus on fan engagement, ticket sales, and customer service.
From 2020 to 2024, he was with the University of Houston, first as General Manager with LEARFIELD and then as Director of Ticket Retention and Service.
Evans earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Managerial Studies and Kinesiology from Rice. He and his wife, Tobi, live in Pearland with their daughter, Karleigh.
