Alex Manzo joined the Rice University Sports Medicine Department in 2023. He is responsible for managing the health care of the Football team.

Alex is a graduate of Chico State where he earned a degree in Exercise Physiology. He received his master’s degree in Athletic Training from Oregon State University where he worked with Football and Women’s Basketball. Alex also had the opportunity to work with Georgia Tech Football and Men’s Tennis. Also worked as a Seasonal Intern with the New York Jets.

His professional interests include manual therapies such as Dry Needling and ART, along with performance based technology.

Alex is currently a member of NATA and NASM. Alex resides in Pearland, TX.
