Ticket Policies
Ticket Assurance Program |
- In the event an athletic season is canceled or played without fans in attendance due to COVID-19, you will have the following options with the ticket money from the canceled games: Receive a refund, keep the money as a ticket credit, apply the money as a tax-deductible Owl Club Gift.
General Information |
- All game times are tentative and subject to change.
- Rice Athletics is committed to playing each scheduled ticketed game. In the event, of a game postponed or canceled due to weather you will have the opportunity to exchange your ticket for a future game.
- All persons age three (3) and over must have a ticket for admission to Rice University sporting events.
- We accept all major credit cards, (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) as well as Google and Apple Pay. We do not accept cash or checks on gamedays.
Season Ticket Format |
Season ticket members are defaulted to mobile tickets as their season ticket format unless otherwise specified. Please contact the Rice Ticket Office with any questions.
Student Tickets |
All current and active Rice students receive free admission to all athletic events on campus. Students can gain admission to events simply by presenting their current and valid student ID at the student gate entrance at all venues and receive access to the General Admission seating areas.
THSCA |
Current members of the Texas High School Coaches Association are allowed complimentary admission for themselves and one guest. Tickets must be redeemed beforehand online. YOUR THSCA CARD WILL NOT GRANT YOU ENTRY. For more information regarding THSCA tickets, please refer to the THSCA portal or contact Tyler Watts at tylerwatts@thsca.com
R-Card |
Former Rice letterwinners are allowed complimentary admission for themselves to all Rice sporting events (excluding postseason).
For Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Baseball, and Men's & Women's Basketball: To enter, present a valid R-Card card at any gate when entering the venue; there is no need to stop by a ticket booth or obtain a ticket. This complimentary admission grants access to the general admission seating area of the venue. For reserved seats to the game or tickets for additional guests, please contact the Rice Ticket Office to purchase.
Will Call Policy |
Any persons picking up tickets at Will Call will be required to show a photo ID. Will Call opens an hour and a half before game time for Football and Baseball and one hour before Soccer, Volleyball, and Men's and Women's Basketball game times.
Baseball Rain Policy |
If less than 6 innings of a game (5 1/2 if the Owls are ahead) are played, your paid ticket may be used for admission for the re-scheduled game. If you choose to not come back to the re-scheduled game or if the game is not re-scheduled, your original ticket may be exchanged at the Tudor Fieldhouse ticket windows or over the phone for a ticket of the same price (if available) for any succeeding regular season game during the season. Tickets for the postponed game are not subject to refunds. Please note, umbrellas are not allowed in Reckling Park.
ADA |
ADA seats may be purchased in advance of game day online, at the Rice Athletics ticket office, or over the phone.
Change of Address |
If you need to change your mailing address, please either call the ticket office or send an email to tickets@athletics.rice.edu.
Free Admission Sports |
Admission is complimentary for regular season Rice Swimming and Tennis events at home. There may be an admission charge when Rice Athletics hosts conference or NCAA tournaments.
