2008-09: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Named a Rice University Honor Athlete; Swam in the 50-freestyle and 100-butterfly at the C-USA Championships... Registered a career-best in the 100-backstroke in the dual meet win over Incarnate Word... Season-best 100-free was at the Phill Hansel meet where the Owls claimed three dual wins. 2007-08: Conference USA Commissioner[apos]s Academic Honor Roll; Finished 12th in the 100-butterfly at the C-USA meet with a career-best 58.27... Scored for the team at conference with a 15th in the 50-free... Notched a career-best 24.27 in the C-USA[apos]s 50-free prelims... Swam the 100-backstroke at conference and the 200-back at the LSU/UH double dual meet. 2006-07: Conference USA Commissioner[apos]s Academic Honor Roll; Steady performer in her first season at the Division I level... Scored for the team in three events at the Conference USA championships held across town at the University of Houston... Finished 12th in the 50-freestyle at the C-USA meet after a 24.53 in the prelims... Placed 13th in the league[apos]s 100-butterfly (59.37) and 14th in the 100-free... Best time in the 100-free was 53.90 at the Indiana Invitational... Contributed to the team on relays.
High School -- A 2006 graduate of South Forsyth High School... U.S. Open and Junior National qualifier and state runner-up in the 50- and 100-freestyle for all four years... Earned team[apos]s Most Valuable Performer award all four years and was selected to the all-state team... All-America nominee... Coached by Kris Hunt... Member of the National Honor Society and Governor[apos]s Honor Program nominee... National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA) Academic all-America with a 4.2 grade point average.
