Rice to Host Lonestar Showdown

HOUSTON – The Rice volleyball team will host the Lonestar Showdown on April 3 at Tudor Fieldhouse, featuring 2025 national champion Texas A&M and TCU.
The tripleheader begins with Rice facing TCU at 1:30 p.m. TCU will then take on Texas A&M at 3:30 p.m.
The day concludes with Rice facing Texas A&M at 5:30 p.m.
All three teams participating in the event reached the postseason in the fall. The Owls faced both programs during the regular season, falling to TCU 3-1 on Sept. 20 during the Rice Invitational II and dropping a 3-0 decision to Texas A&M in the season opener Aug. 29.
All-day passes, which include admission to all three matches, are available for $15. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
