Industry-leading ticketing and fan engagement solution for all Owls' athletic events
IRVINE, Calif.—Rice Athletics and Paciolan, the leading mobile ticketing, marketing, and fundraising solution provider for college athletics, have signed a new agreement to provide an industry-leading ticketing and fan engagement solution for all Owls' athletic events.
Under the partnership, Paciolan will offer innovative ticketing options, providing fans and donors with a user-friendly and efficient way to access events. Paciolan's digital ticketing technology enables Rice fans to purchase tickets through a mobile-optimized platform, receive tickets instantly via text, and scan in at the venue through enhanced digital wallet technologies. Additionally, users can manage their accounts directly from their mobile device to easily transfer, exchange, or resell tickets to family and friends.
"Partnering with Paciolan gives us the tools to better understand our fans and deliver them a best-in-class experience from ticket purchase to game day," said Tommy McClelland, Vice President and Director of Athletics at Rice. "With deeper insights, we can build stronger, more personal connections at every touchpoint."
Rice Athletics will leverage Paciolan's email marketing tool, powered by Oracle Eloqua, to easily create and distribute sharp, engaging marketing emails to targeted audiences, alerting them of upcoming events and offers. Additionally, Rice will tap into Paciolan's Salesforce CRM to establish integrated data feeds, gain deeper insights into fan behavior, and develop personalized engagement programs based on individual interests, affinities, and past transactions.
"Rice is a program that understands the power of providing a ticketing and marketing platform to build better fan engagement," said Christian Lewis, Chief Revenue Officer at Paciolan. "By combining our technology with their strategic approach, we're enabling a more informed, dynamic connection between the athletics department and Owl fans, one that evolves with every interaction."
The Paciolan platform integrates seamlessly into the official website of Rice Athletics, which will continue to provide secure, convenient, and easily accessible links to purchase tickets. RiceOwls.com, is powered by SIDEARM Sports, a division of Paciolan's parent company, Learfield.
