Volleyball Announces 2025 Spring Schedule

HOUSTON - Rice volleyball head coach Genny Volpe announced the spring 2025 schedule on Wednesday morning. The schedule features a trip down the road to the F.A.S.T. College Invitational, a road trip to Waco and a neutral site match under the same roof, and a home match against cross-town rival Houston.
The spring will begin with the F.A.S.T. College Invitational hosted at the F.A.S.T. Complex in Houston, Texas. A full pool in the tournament will be released at a later time. In previous tournaments, the Owls have faced off against teams such as Houston Christian, LSU, and TCU.
Rice will have two matches in Waco, where the Owls will take on the Baylor Bears ahd the Texas A&M Aggies. Rice last faced Baylor early in the 2024 season, while last facing A&M in the NCAA Tourament in 2019. Both matches will take place on April 12, with the Baylor match starting at 4 PM. The Texas A&M match start time will be announced at a later date.
Rice will end the spring slate with a home match against Houston, who Rice faced as an exhibition match before the 2024 season started. More details regarding the match, such as admission policies, will be announced at a later date.
