
Swimming Selected as CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

LEWISBURG, Pennsylvania – Rice swimming was named by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team for the Spring of 2024.
The CSCAA, the national coaches association for college swim programs, recognizes exemplary performance in the classroom with its Team Scholar All-America Awards for both the Fall and Spring semesters. The organization honored 722 women's and men's teams from a total of 417 institutions across all divisions of college swimming. Teams were selected for the honor by maintaining a composite grade-point average of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) for all athletes on the roster during the 2024 spring semester. In all, 17,162 student-athletes shared in their respective team's recognition.
Rice qualified with a team GPA of 3.77, the highest GPA among AAC teams and tying for 11th nationally. The American Athletic Conference was one of 17 conferences named as Scholar All-America conference.
