Four home meets on tap
Rice swimming will open its 2023-24 dual season on Friday, October 13 when the Owls host Denver in a two-day competition dubbed the "Dualapaloza", the first of four home competitions at the Rice Competition Pool this season.
In addition to the two-day meet with Denver that features three sessions, Rice will host Houston at 10 a.m. on October 28, Texas A&M for Senior Day on December 2, and wrap up the home schedule on January 27 against Miami.
The 23-24 road schedule includes the SMU Invite on November 16-18; the CSCAA Open Water National Championships in Miami on December 17 where the Owls will look to defend their team title; a dual meet at FAU on December 19, a quad meet at SMU where the Owls will face the Mustangs as well as North Texas and Tulane on January 19-20; a double-dual at Houston that also features Miami and wraps up with the Jill Sterkel Classic in Austin on February 10.
The Owls battle for the American Athletic Conference Championship in Dallas from February 22-25 and then compete at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship, which is moving to Ocala, Florida, on March 14-16, and the NCAA Championships will close out the postseason, March 20-23 in Athens, Georgia.
There is no admission charge to attend home meets at the Rice Competition Pool.
