Lettenberger wins 200 IM at Citi Para Swimming World Series
Ella Dyson finished 11th, Shannon Campbell 22 16th and Amelia Kane 20th in the women's 5K race at the U.S. Open Water National Championships on Sunday in Sarasota, Florida while Ahalya Lettenberger closed out her program at the Citi Para Swimming World Series event in Minneapolis, Minnesota by winning the 200 IM on Saturday.
Dyson finished in 59:38.88, missing a spot on the podium (top eight finishers) by just over two seconds. Campbell finished in 1:03:38.75 and Kane in 1:04:47.64.
Katie Grimes completed a sweep of the races adding the 5K title to her win in the 10K event on Friday.
Ahalya Lettenberger knocked three seconds off her prelim time in winning the 200 IM in 3:04.04. She coupled her win in the 200 IM with a second-place finish in the 100-meter breaststroke and third-place finishes in the 100 and 400 freestyles.
