Rice Athletics Launches Mobile Ticketing Initiative

Rice Owls fans will now be able to access their tickets primarily through digital ticketing.
After previously offering it as an optional delivery method, Rice Athletics will transition to mobile ticketing as the default option for all season and single-game tickets beginning with the 2022 football, soccer and volleyball seasons.
The move to mobile ticketing affords fans the greatest ease of use, level of security, and flexibility to access and utilize tickets to attend all athletics events moving forward.
Mobile ticketing reduces frequent issues related to physical tickets, including theft, lost tickets, and shipping delays. In addition, mobile ticketing will provide ticket purchasers the ability to manage their tickets via mobile phone to allow them to easily transfer or sell their tickets.
Mobile tickets are also immediately updated to reflect any date or time changes made to upcoming events and eliminate any potential confusion.
While general admission parking passes will also transition to mobile-first, donor parking for all sports will continue to be distributed physically, with passes being mailed to season ticket members.
