- The Owls stayed at No. 21 in the latest AVCA Top-25 Coaches Poll. They also moved up in the NCAA's latest RPI rankings to No. 16.
- For the third time in the last four weeks, Rice fifth-year middle blocker Anota Adekunle and fifth-year setter Carly Graham were honored by Conference USA as the Offensive Player and Setter of the Week, respectively. 24 kills, six blocks, a .595 hitting percentage and 29.0 points in a pair of sweeps. Graham had recorded 59 assists, 11 digs and four kills on the week.
- Rice junior libero Nia McCardell currently leads Conference USA in digs per set, averaging 5.02, which is 23rd in the country. Fifth-year middle blocker Anota Adekunle leads C-USA with a 42.8% hitting percentage, good for seventh in the nation.
- As a team the Owls currently rank 15th in the NCAA in digs per set (16.89) and are 20th in opponents hitting percentage (.164). The Owls have held 18 of 22 opponents below a hitting percentage of .200 or worse this season.
- Dating back to 2014 the Owls are 102-20 (.836) in Conference USA play, which includes a 57-3 (.950) record the last three seasons. Rice has won 36 consecutive C-USA regular season contests dating back to the 2019 season.
