Lettenberger Posts Strong Second Place In 400-Free

Rice sophomore Ahalya Lettenberger placed second in the finals of the 400-meter freestyle Friday at the 2021 Para Swimming World Series Meet. She posted a time of 5:23.16 in the morning prelims to hold third place and then made a big improvement in the evening finals with 5:19.69 to take second overall.
"Ahalya executed a great race plan and finished strong," said Rice head coach Seth Huston. "She had a come-from-behind finish for second place."
