Owls Earn No. 1 Seed; Face Charlotte at C-USA Championship

First round match set for Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. (CT)
DALLAS - The Rice Owls volleyball team will be the No. 1 overall seed at this year's Conference USA Championship, which will take place in Norfolk, Va. (hosted by Old Dominion) Nov. 19-21.
Rice (17-5, 12-0) will face Charlotte (12-12, 5-7) in the opening round on Friday, Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. (CT). The Owls and 49ers did not face each other this season and last played in the semifinals of last season's C-USA Championship, which Rice swept 3-0.
All seven matches of the tournament will be streamed on ESPN+.
The Owls just completed their second straight undefeated season in C-USA play and will be looking to win their third C-USA Championship tournament in program history.
