New web host
As we prepare to kick off the 2018-19 athletic year, RiceOwls.com has a new look and a new home on the web.
Your home on the internet for all things related to Rice University Athletics is now hosted by SIDEARM Sports after 13 years with CBS Interactive Advanced Media.
The moves comes as part of a partnership between the two companies that was announced in February, which combines operations of more than 1,100 college and high school athletic websites.
SIDEARM Sports features industry-leading content management and delivery systems and creative design solutions. SIDEARM Sports, the leading provider of collegiate athletic web solutions, will manage the website while providing the hosting and infrastructure for the Owls. The SIDEARM platform delivers engaging fan experiences, including an updated live stats presentation, promoting brand awareness and efficiently delivering timely athletic department digital content. SIDEARM is now providing the digital platform for nearly 800 NCAA colleges, universities and conferences.
SIDEARM Sports plays host to nearly 300 Division I university athletic sites, including 56 of the 65 Power 5 athletic departments. SIDEARM Sports provides the software and technology that powers websites, live stats, social presence and video streaming for its athletic partners.
