Expanded Selections Await at ShopRiceOwls.com

Rice fans looking for a one-stop shopping option for the latest in Owls gear have an exciting new option with the launch of ShopRiceOwls.com, the new official online store of the athletic department, which launched on Monday.
Rice has partnered with Advanced-Online to create a website to give Rice Athletics fans access to a greatly expanded selection of quality merchandise for the whole family. The new site will offer everything from basic t-shirts and polos to personalized jerseys, hats, bags, accessories, and much more. At launch, the store will carry over 2,000 products, a greater than fivefold increase from the previous site.
"We have heard the message from our fans loud and clear that they wanted more and better options for online merchandise," Rice Director of Business Strategy Paul Lockhart-Korris said. "Today we have achieved that goal, and we are tremendously excited to bring this expanded assortment to everyone who supports the Rice Owls. Advanced-Online has been a terrific partner and understands the needs of Rice fans, and we look forward to growing with them in the years ahead."
To celebrate the opening of ShopRiceOwls.com, fans can save 10% on all t-shirts through the end of July.
Details on the plans for a team store at Owls sporting events will be released in the near future.
