Rice hosts Lamar on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 7:05 pm in Autry Court. The Cardinals are 3-5 after losing two games in Tulsa, Okla. Tulsa downed Lamar 74-68 last Friday, and then Oral Roberts beat the Cardinals on Monday, 88-63. Rice holds a 15-6 advantage in the series.
Lamar is led in scoring by James Davis at 17.5 ppg, while Lamar Sanders leads the team in rebounding at 9.6 rpg to go with his 11.1 scoring average.
All-America candidate Morris Almond has been in double-digits for all seven games this season. He has scored 205 points for a 29.3 scoring average to lead Rice. Almond also leads the Owls in steals with 12 and is second in rebounding (5.3).
