Willis Wilson saying: "Play the game with excitement."
I picked my jersey number because: I wanted number 4, but that is Matt's number so I was going to get 22 because my twin brother, Janson, wore it in high school but that is Morris's number. So I took 15.
Post-Rice non-basketball ambition(s): Ivy League law school and then president of the United States
How would you describe yourself: Diverse. I enjoy talking to just about anyone who has something to say and know a little bit about just about everything. Driven, talkative, interesting, passionate, happy.
Something that no one knows about you: Well I am a twin, but I also have three other brothers: Alexander, Joshua, and Christopher. Also, my mom, Dianna, is my role model for raising us all on her own and doing quite a good job at it!
Owl basketball players to watch out for this year: J.R. Harrison, Morris Almond and Zo Williams
Best thing about playing basketball at Rice: The sense that there is no place better for me. The basketball staff is supportive, the students are great, and the school is wonderful.
When did you start playing basketball? Age 6
Did you do anything this past summer? Worked out and had a job on campus.
What are the keys to Rice's success in C-USA? Playing as a team. We have the components of a championship team and once we get the confidence for everyone to be a weapon, no one will be able to play with us!
