The Rice Owls (1-2) meets Oregon (3-0) for the third time ever on Saturday, Nov. 26 in Eugene, Ore. at McArthur Court. Tip-off is set for 4 pm (CST).
Oregon has four players averaging double-figures. Malik Hairston leads at 13.0 ppg, while Ivan Johnson averages 11.7. Bryce Taylor and Marty Leunen each average 11.0 ppg.
The Owls are led in scoring by J.R. Harrison's 15.3 ppg, while juniors Lorenzo Williams and Morris Almond each average 13.3. Senior Jamaal Moore is averaging 11.3 points a game. Harrison also leads the Owls in rebounding at 7.7 rpg, while Williams is averaging 5.7 rebounds in leading the team with 17 assists.
Following the Oregon game, Rice returns to Houston to host Prairie View A&M on Tues., Nov. 29 at Autry Court at 7:05 pm.
