The Rice Men's Basketball team takes on SMU to kick off their first C-USA game of the season. Come out to Tudor fieldhouse and witness the High Fliers Jump Rope Team perform at halftime!

Saturday, January 17th, 3:00pm vs. UCF: Jr. Owl Club Day

The Rice Men's Basketball team would like to honor the official members of the Jr. Owl Club. Show your membership badge at the ticket booth and receive TWO FREE general admission tickets! Register now to participate in a FREE pre-game Spirit and Sign making workshop held EXCLUSIVELY for Jr. Owl Club members! This workshop will begin at 2:00pm

Get your face tattoo and make a sign to show your spirit. Pre-registration is required. RSVP to lpinsent@rice.edu no later than January 7th, 2009. Jr. Owl Club members who pre-register and attend the pre-game event will be entered into a drawing to participate in a halftime contest! Confirmation emails will be sent out on January 14th. After the game stick around for autographs from the Rice Cheerleaders and Dance Team!

PARENTS: Send in a picture of your Jr. Owl Club member in their Rice gear for a slideshow on the videoboard! Pictures must be send in JPEG format to lpinsent@rice.edu no later than January 7th, 2009.File size must be under 800KB.

Kids under 14 get in FREE with an accompanying paid adult ticket. Rice is proud to participate in the nation-wide "Take a Kid to the Game" program which encourages adults to bring a child to a sporting event to witness good sportsmanship and physical fitness at the college level. Also, the Rice Owls Baseball team will be honored during halftime for their accomplishments in their 2008 season. The Rice Baseball Players will be receiving their rings for competition in the 2008 College World Series.

Kids under 14 get in FREE with an 'A' on their report card, test or paper! Bring your graded assignment to the ticket office and receive one FREE general admission ticket. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Wednesday, February 18th, 7:00pm vs. UTEP: Rice Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night

Faculty and Staff of Rice University receive 2 FREE general admission tickets with proper I.D.!

Saturday, February 28th, 3:00pm vs. Houston: Dance and Dribble

The Rice University Dance team is hosting a pre-game clinic for dancers ages 5-13 to come learn their moves and perform at halftime! For just $15 your youth dancer will receive: A Dance and Dribble T-shirt, one end court ticket to the game and one hour dance clinic by the Rice University Dance Team!

Tickets for adults accompanying youth dancers are only $15 and additional youth tickets (without t-shirt or clinic are only $10. Pre-registration is required. Registration form coming soon.

Monday, January 5th vs. George Washington: Camper Reunion

The Rice Women's basketball team invites ALL past summer campers to Camper Reunion Night, Monday. January 5th at 7pm! All campers wear their basketball camp T-shirt and get into the game FREE! Fro $5 campers can attend some fun pre-game festivities including a pizza party, sign making for the game, and there will be a Rice player appearance. The pre-game event will take place in Fox Gym, next to Tudor Fieldhouse, from 5:45-6:45. To register for this pre-game event contact Blakely Allen at bca2@rice.edu.

January 16th vs. Memphis: Youth League Night

Come for the Lady Owls conference opener with your youth basketball league and get tickets at a discounted rate. Teams can get $5 ticket for the side court seats or $2 end court tickets! January 18th vs. UAB: Take a Kid to the Game Day

All kids under the age of 14 get in FREE with a paid adult ticket! Be sure to stay until the end for the autograph session after the game!

January 25th vs. Southern Miss: Youth Cheer Day

Come cheer on the Lady Owls with your youth cheer or dance squad. Get group tickets for either $5 or $2. There will be a free clinic held before the game with the Rice Cheerleaders. Fill Tudor Fieldhouse for the NCAA Pack the House game as the Owls take on cross-town rival U of H! Help the Rice Women's Basketball team raise awareness for breast cancer for the Kay yow/WBCA Cancer Fund. Wear pink and get a half-priced ticket.
